Apolytikion. Tone 4.

You were taken up in glory, Christ our God, having made the Disciples joyful with the promise of the Holy Spirit; through the blessing they were assured that you are the Son of God, the redeemer of the world. (**)

The sacred service of "Orthros" has always taken place at the very end of the night and at the earliest hours of the day.

Our Lord Jesus Christ, our Saviour, "who has declined the Heavens and descended", following the darkness of the universal apostasy brought the sweetest light of all, the Light of his man-God presence among mankind.

Our intimate and sacred desire is to overcome the darkness of the existing "new world" arrogance, be always an apprentice by the feet of our Lord Jesus Christ, the one and only man-God, and live constantly in an unquenched and continuous doxology of Orthros.

A genuine and real Doxology to the Father and to the Son and to the Holy Spirit, is officiated at every Orthros' service, in the Monasteries and Parishes of the Orthodox Church worldwide.

Humble servants - Priests and Deacons - serve the holy service of Orthros, which is completed by the offering of the bloodless Holy Eucharist "for our sins and the people's ignorances..."

Layman, our families, our spiritual children, our parishioners, man and women of every age, rejoice daily with the masterpieces of the Orthros and the overall holy worship of our Orthodox church.

The present web site expresses our enthusiasm, that of clergy and lay men, for the Godly inspired and timeless worship, as it has been infallibly crystallized in the Monastic "Typikon" (ritual) of Holy Orthodoxy, whose charismatic origin lies into its very rich primeval asmatic Typikon.

We would certainly not bear to change "one jot and one tittle" and to add or remove from the masterly wording or melody, of our Godly inspired and Holly hymnographers who have speciously, scientifically and orderly cons΄tructed all in perfection, with the prayers of our Holy Mother of God and all the Saints who have pleased our Lord on to the ages of ages, along with the ever going and sole approval of the Christian generations throughout the centuries.

Over the last few years, T.V., periodicals, the press and the media - in general - are struggling to introduce into our Orthodox Community the by-products of the various sects of the plentiful heresies and of their deceptive "innocent" messages which alienate the whole life of a person both in theory and in practice.

The Uniqueness of the man-God face of our Lord Jesus Christ, eventually forms the ultimate hope of every person in escaping this devastating alienation and inaugurates, inside and around him, the new-in-Christ most happy and blissful way of living.
